I’m drawn to themes like violence, fear, and death because they resonate on a deep, almost subconscious level—they’re part of the cycles of life and the challenges we move through, and exploring them in my work allows me to confront and process those experiences. My practice is rooted in collage and animation, and I approach these intense topics by dissecting and reconfiguring images and movements, letting unexpected connections emerge.

Recurring motifs like fire and wind represent forces of destruction and renewal, and looping or circular motions often appear, echoing the cycles that shape both the work and my own life. In the digital realm, these themes take on an added layer: technology mediates the way we perceive and experience them, and through digital reassembly I can highlight that mediation, inviting viewers to reflect on how the digital world shapes our understanding of fear, mortality, and transformation.
